Chamber Director Pam Palermo to keynote ‘State of the Chamber’ luncheon

ST. GEORGE — The St. George Area Chamber of Commerce will be highlighting how it helps hundreds of Southern Utah businesses get ahead in the economy during its “State of the Chamber” luncheon Wednesday.

Chamber Director Pam Palermo will keynote the luncheon, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Courtyard by Marriott in St. George.

Palermo has years of experience in running businesses. Her background includes taking bankrupt companies and turning them into multimillion-dollar businesses.

According to a newsletter issued by the chamber, she is a military veteran who is disciplined, organized and whose motto is “failure is not an option!”

Pam is currently the financial officer and event coordinator for the American Legion Post 90, the largest veteran organization in Southern Utah. She has organized and executed numerous events, large and small.

  • When: Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Where: Courtyard by Marriott, 185 S. 1470 East, St. George.
  • Admission: $15 for chamber members, $20 for nonmembers. Advanced registration can be completed online at the George Area Chamber of Commerce event webpage. Members who don’t preregister may pay $20 at the door.
