ST. GEORGE — The St. George Police Department is asking for the public’s aid in locating a missing 38-year-old woman last seen Monday near Costco. The department posted on social media that officers are searching for Connie Cawley.
Update Jan 23, 9 a.m. – According to a family member, Cawley has been located. A Facebook post from Teresa Cawley read as follows:
Connie has been found! Not a lot of details are available just yet, but she has been transported for medical care. Thank you so much to all of you wonderful people that have reached out with your prayers, thoughts, and helping hands. God has answered our prayers
According to the original Facebook post from a family member announcing her disappearance, she was last seen wearing a full-length flower print skirt, a white top with a lime green vest and a black coat.
Cawley was on foot when she went missing, the family member wrote.
She is 5 foot 6 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes and has a fair complexion, according to information posted by the police.
Cawley went missing once before in April 2016 and was found a day later, eight miles from her home in Centennial Park, Arizona.
At the time, authorities said the circumstances surrounding her disappearance were unusual and added she was known to experience depression.
In this recent incident, it was mentioned in social media posts from family that Cawley may be experiencing postpartum depression.
