Emily is Garfield County’s 2019 New Year’s baby

PANGUITCH — Emily Waylon Gray is Garfield Memorial Hospital’s 2019 New Year’s Baby.

She was born at the hospital in Panguitch at 11:02 p.m. Thursday, weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and measuring 20 inches long, according to a brief news release issued by the hospital Monday.

Emily is the second child of Jon and Lilith Gray of Panguitch, joining her older brother Jethro.

DeAnn Brown, a certified nurse midwife and nurse administrator at Garfield Memorial Hospital, delivered the baby, according to the news release.
