When they arrived, the suspect Kenneth L. Edwards was extremely noncompliant, violently attacking officers, resulting in his arrest, according to police.

“He resisted and hit and kicked four officers,” public information officer Tiffany Atkin said. The injuries sustained were minor cuts and bruises and didn’t require any medical attention.

Edwards was initially transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center for medical evaluation, but was cleared and booked into Washington County Purgatory Correctional Facility on multiple charges including intoxication and assaulting multiple police officers. He is currently in custody pending bail.

Persons arrested or charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact

Glad no officers with major injuries from this goof. Stack up the charges and let him hang out in Hurricane Utah for a month or so. Maybe that will rub off in tbe right way and he will realize we are nice folk in these here parts. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Utah is quite a different story. His lovely picture will be available on the internet for years and years, as data collection agencies scan this website for personal info. . And you thought it was just google… You’ve made the SG news, you’re famous now! In Vegas it simply would have been a blip off the radar. Oh well. We all get our 1 minute of fame. Time to grow up.
