ST. GEORGE — The St. George Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite members of the public to their next “Inspiration Luncheon” Wednesday at 11:30 at the Courtyard by Marriott and featuring Gabe Adams.

According to a press release from the chamber, Adams is just your “average” 19-year-old who was born in Brazil with Hanhart syndrome, a genetic disorder that has left him with no arms or legs. Adopted by a Utah family, he is an amazing example of rising to the challenges of life.

Despite his disability, Adams is extremely independent, participates in family and school activities daily and lives an amazingly “normal” life. He went to Dixie High School and served as a senior class officer before graduating in 2017. He even made the dance teams at both Davis and Desert Hills high schools.

Adams is now pursuing a career in motivational speaking and looking forward to starting college soon, where he will pursue interests in becoming a psychiatrist or interior designer.

His story will inspire you to view life’s challenges differently and motivate you to “rise up” and pursue your dreams with courage.

The Inspiration Luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Advanced registration is recommended and may be done at the event registration webpage. Entry fees in advance of the event are $15 for chamber members and $20 for nonmembers; tickets at the door will be an additional $5.
