ST. GEORGE — As part of its new “Weekend Wellness” series, Red Mountain Resort is offering St. George area residents an opportunity to embark on a day of rejuvenation featuring small group fitness and wellness sessions, a tasty and healthy lunch and a 30 percent discount on all Sagestone Spa & Salon services (discount limited to that day only).

The first Weekend Wellness event is scheduled for this Saturday. The cost is $75 per guest. Attendees are encouraged to register as soon as possible, as the session is limited to 30 guests.

Tracey Welsh, general manager of Red Mountain Resort, said Saturday’s event is the first of what organizers hope will be a series of quarterly events.

The day’s schedule of activities is as follows:

  • 10 a.m. – Registration and welcome; set intentions for the day.
  • 10:30 a.m. – Enjoy a fitness or yoga class.
  • Noon to 1 p.m. – Lunch at Canyon Breeze Restaurant.
  • 1 p.m. – “Say Yes and No with Clarity,” an interactive discussion with life coach Cindy Clemens.
  • 2 p.m. – Spa on your own. Enjoy classes, the outdoor pool or take 30 percent off any regularly priced treatment at Sagestone.

Organizers say a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Women’s Influence Center, a nonprofit foundation under the umbrella of the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce designed to support and promote women’s personal, professional and leadership development.
