Traffic advisory: Hay spill on I-15 delays southbound traffic near milepost 5

ST. GEORGE — Motorists on southbound Interstate 15 near milepost 5 in Southern Utah can expect delays as crews clear spilled hay from the road.

A truck hauling hay on a trailer lost a portion of its load at around 2:15 p.m. Friday, causing the outside lane to be closed in the area of the spill.

Crews from the Utah Department of Transportation are working to clear the debris from the road.

The incident is expected to be cleared by 3:45 p.m., according to UDOT.
