Karen Mitchell Garcia, 80, died peacefully on Sept. 3, at the Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George. Karen was born on Nov. 23, 1936, in Escalante, to Cloyd and Cleone Riddle Mitchell.
Karen enjoyed traveling, reading and most of all playing bridge. She raised two boys, Dan and Mitch Wright.
She is survived by her sons; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
Karen will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services
- Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. at the Washington City Cemetery.
