The man’s name is Roland Knight and he was last seen on a red motorized mobility jazzy wearing a white shirt with a blue vest and white pants.

An automated phone alert was sent out to residents around 8:30 p.m., relaying the information that Roland had been missing for three hours by then.

Residents are asked to check surrounding areas for this elderly man. Volunteers are not being asked for at this time.

Knight reportedly went missing near the Hurricane Wal-Mart at approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a Facebook post by Amber Page, Knight’s granddaughter.

“He suffers from Alzheimer’s and just recently moved from Idaho so is not super familiar with the area,” Page said in the post.
