WASHINGTON CITY – A man was taken to the hospital for evaluation Monday morning after being temporarily pinned behind a pickup truck.

The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. at a private business located on Washington Dam Road. A worker who was backing up a pickup truck ended up pinning another worker between the back of the bumper of the truck and a work table, said Ed Kantor, of the Washington City Police.

The driver was going “very, very slow,” Kantor said, adding that while no serious injuries were apparent on the pinned worker, he was still taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center as a precaution.

This report is based on preliminary information provided by law enforcement or other emergency responders and may not contain the full scope of findings.
