HURRICANE — The Hurricane City Police Department is limiting travel on state Route 9, or State Street, at 3400 West until 11 a.m. Sunday to reconstruct a Nov. 17 crash.

Adela Castillo, 55, was critically injured in the Nov. 17 crash and died the next day. The pickup truck she was riding in was reportedly T-boned by another pickup truck towing a mini-excavator.

Most delays will be single-lane closures but an occasional full closure may be required. Detours around the scene will be marked, but the closure will slow traffic through the area significantly.

Police advise motorists use caution in driving through the area.

There is loss of life here and the people involved in finding out what happened should always have the right of way.
