ST. GEORGE — Town & Country Bank of St. George is making some changes, streamlining the credit approval process and adding two new board members.
Chairman of the Board Kurt Johnson announced Thursday that co-owner and CEO of Steamroller Copies and Design To Print Inc. Stefanie Bevans and Intermountain Healthcare’s Southwest Region Operations Officer of the senior division, Joné Koford, have been appointed to the bank’s board of directors.
“We are extremely fortunate to have Stefanie and Joné as directors,” Johnson said. “Both have highly successful business experience, and the bank will benefit greatly from their unique perspectives and energetic management styles.”
The bank also announced two promotions designed to speed up the credit approval process.
Executive Vice President P. West Martin has been named the bank’s first chief credit officer.
Martin will have responsibility over all credit administration. He has 40 years of credit experience. As the bank’s chief lending officer, Martin oversaw development of a loan portfolio that was launched during the bank’s startup phase.
Jason Hutsenpiller has been promoted to the position of senior vice president and chief lending officer for the bank. He has been with the bank since 2014. Hutsenpiller will be responsible for new loan production, relationship management and loan processing.
Town & Country was established in 2008. It maintains one retail office in St. George and a loan production office in Sandy. Earlier this year, Town & Country won the “Best of State” statue award recognizing it as the top business in Utah. The bank has also recently won a string of other regional and national awards for excellence and innovation.
