Dolly Jones McGeehan Brownfield, age 89, passed away peacefully with family at her side Saturday, October 8, 2016.  She was born November 27, 1926, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to George Simion and Nessie Vera Jones.

Dolly enjoyed life to the fullest.  She was strong, smart, spirited, artistic, generous and funny.  She’s a beloved mother who gave to and sacrificed for her children to the very end.  She loved family gatherings, her many wonderful friends, golfing, dancing, teasing, traveling and reminiscing.  But, most of all, she loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by five of her six children: Brent Bruesch, Bill Bruesch (Betty), Debbie Terrell (Dennis), Loren McGeehan, and Shane McGeehan, 19 grandchildren and 28-plus great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Henery A. Brownfield (husband), Jerry Drysdale (son), Shakem Bruesch (great-grandson), George and Nessie Jones (parents), Jay and Glane Jones (brothers), and Betty Jean Logie (sister).

Family would like to offer sincere appreciation and a thank you to the Encompass Hospice team (Suzanne, Janae, Pam and Kevin) and the memory unit staff at Red Cliffs Rehabilitation Center for their care, love and support.
