IVINS – Road closures have been announced for the Huntsman World Senior Games, which begin Monday in Southern Utah.
Snow Canyon State Park Manager Kristen Comella said Snow Canyon Drive through Snow Canyon State Park will be closed on the following days in order for the cycling events to take place:
- Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Residents and visitors alike will feel the impact of the more than 11,000 athletes participating in the Senior Games this year as some of the events affect area roadways. Motorists are cautioned to be aware of the extra traffic on local roads and to take the time necessary to arrive at a destination safely.
