UPDATE: St. George Police report that Noel Gonzales was located and returned to his family.
ST GEORGE — Police are asking for assistance in locating a male juvenile who went missing after leaving his home 10 days ago.
St. George Police were notified by the boy’s mother that Noel Horacio Gonzales has not been heard from since he left his home Sept. 9.
Gonzales was last seen wearing white shoes, white pants, a black sweater and carrying a red backpack.
He left on foot by himself and may be staying with friends in the area of Washington City.
“He has left before, but never for this amount of time. Generally, it’s just overnight,” St. George Police Officer Lona Trombley said of Gonzales’ history of leaving home without informing anyone.
