Chick-fil-A entrepreneur will present at free speaker series

ST. GEORGE ­— Dixie State University’s “Entrepreneurial Speaker Series” will feature Deven Macdonald, Chik-fil-A restaurant franchise owner, in a presentation Monday afternoon discussing business and culture.

Macdonald has been operating his Chick-fil-A franchise in St. George since its opening March 28, 2013.

“Deven is always an inspiring speaker and brings a wealth of knowledge about leadership based on real-world experiences,” Chris Brown, instructor of entrepreneurship at Dixie State, said.

The presentation runs from noon to 12:50 p.m. Monday in the Dunford Auditorium of the Browning Resource Center on Dixie State campus. Admission is free and the public is encouraged to attend.

About the series

The “Entrepreneurial Speaker Series” is offered through the business department of Dixie Sate’s College of Business and Communication.
