Nigel Jesus Ake Chavez, age 25, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10.
He was born in Monterey, California, on June 3, 1991, to Norma Chavez and Manuel Ake.
Nigel’s interests were partying, that’s for sure. I think we can all agree on that one. He also liked the great outdoors and to be out hiking or playing some frisbee golf. He was also big on his DJ skills. He loved music and liked to make some of his own. He was raised in L.A. for a few years and then moved to San Bernardino until about his 20s then moved on up to Cedar City, Utah.
He was mostly known for his outgoing personality and his ability to make anyone feel comfortable and happy to be around him.
Nigel was such a happy person and always knew exactly how to have a good time, because drinking was also one of his favorite hobbies. And of course, everyone knew his love for music because that’s all he would talk about, from the music he would produce all the way to going out to music festivals in his spare time.
He is survived by his sisters: Jasmin Ake, who is currently living in Fontana, California, and Jilyn Ake, who is living in Victorville, California.
