Leo Barlocker

July 26, 1933 — September 4, 2016

Leo Frank Barlocker, 83, loving husband, father and grandfather, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sept. 4, 2016, in the comfort of his home. He was born July 26, 1933, in Enterprise, Utah, to Ernest Emil and Iola Mariah Barlocker. He fell in love with and married Carol Lynne Barlocker in the St George Temple on February 9, 1957.

Leo grew up in Enterprise, Utah. He joined the army at the age of 22 and was deployed to Korea. When he returned home he went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad and worked there until he retired in 1994. He served in the community along with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for most of his life. He loved sports and being outdoors with his family.

He is survived by his children Karol (Dana) Truman, Audrey (Jeff) Colf, Craig (Cindy) Barlocker, Tammy (Russell) Gardner, of Enterprise, Utah, Debbie (John) Marshall of Las Vegas, Nevada, and two sons, from a previous marriage: David (Ann) Harrington of Murray, Utah, and Steven Harrington; 25 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents and siblings: Lagrand, Kleda, Florence, Thella, Erwin, Ernest Dee, Leah, and Myrtle.

Funeral Services

  • Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Enterprise LDS Stake Center, 80 Center Street, Enterprise, Utah.
  • Visitation will be Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m., prior to services at the Stake Center.
  • Interment will be at the Enterprise City Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the hospital staff and Intermountain Health Care nurses and caretakers for all their loving care and kindness in behalf of our father.
