The crash occurred around 1:05 p.m. and involved a track and trailer that had rolled and ended up blocking both lanes of travel. As of 3:50 p.m., Utah Department of Transportation reported all lanes were cleared and open to traffic.

UDOT originally issued an advisory that the crash is causing traffic delays of 15 minutes or more. UDOT officials anticipate clearing the roadway after 3 p.m.

The right lane and shoulder lanes of northbound I-15 were reported cleared by 2:10 p.m. with the removal of the truck. The trailer remains in the left lane awaiting removal.

While traffic is slowing passing by the incident, traffic has backed up for at least three miles south to Exit 16 onto state Route 9.
