ST. GEORGE — In an effort to raise funds to continue providing free tax preparation services for those in need, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance – or VITA – program is hosting a fundraiser Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar in St. George.

During the fundraising hours, 10 percent of all food and drink purchases both dine in and take out will be donated to the VITA program, which utilizes IRS-certified volunteers to help with tax preparation for low-income households, those with disabilities and those with limited English-speaking abilities.

The VITA tax program is implemented by the Utah’s “Earn it. Keep it. Save it.” campaign and the Southern Utah Asset Building Coalition.
