CEDAR CITY – Emergency crews transported a male driver to Beaver Hospital after he sustained multiple back and head injuries from a rollover Saturday morning.

The condition of the driver was unknown at the time of publication.

At approximately 10 a.m., Utah Highway Patrol troopers responded to a rollover at milepost 125 on Interstate 15 in Beaver County.

The rollover involved a gray Ford F350 pickup truck that was pulling a 30-foot fifth-wheel trailer and another trailer carrying a motorcycle, UHP Trooper Brian Bairett said.

The pickup was traveling south when it experienced a tire failure causing the truck and both trailers to begin swerving.

The pickup swerved around to the left where the fifth-wheel trailer separated from the truck, Bairett said. At that point, the truck went off the road into the median and rolled several times before coming to rest on the driver’s side.

No lanes were blocked due to the truck and trailers sliding into the median, Bairett said.
