“We responded at 6:09 p.m. on an injury crash involving a 32 year-old female riding a 2004 motorcycle,” Hurricane City Police Officer Jeff Adams said. “She sustained minor injuries at the time, and was assessed by Hurricane Valley paramedics. She did refuse transport to the hospital.”

The woman was riding westbound in the company of three other riders at the time of accident, Adams said, adding that speed did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

No citations had been issued but the accident is still under investigation.

The motorcycle was removed from the highway by friends of the rider.

LaVerkin Police Department also responded to the incident.

This report is based on preliminary information provided by law enforcement or other emergency responders and may not contain the full scope of findings.
