ST. GEORGE — For most sports fans, football is never too far out of mind, even in the heat of summer. And for high school football players, the heat of summer is when the skills that are needed for Friday nights under the lights in the fall are honed.

St. George News photographer Robert Hoppie was out at the toasty Dixie High School 7-on-7 competition Saturday and captured this photo gallery for us.
