Oliver (Ollie) Canfield Cannon, of Las Vegas died peacefully in his home on May 13, 2016, due to natural causes. Ollie was 65 years old.

He was born on April 8, 1951, in St. George, Utah to parents Ivan and Helen Cannon. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen Cannon. He is survived by his son Caleb Cannon, daughters Sarah Cannon- Lino, and Michelle Leibly, father Ivan Cannon, siblings Ronald Cannon, Laura Cannon, Bayard Cannon, and Jacqueline Smith, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Ollie loved riding his Harley Davidson, sports, fishing, guns, tinkering on projects of all kinds, spending time with his friends, and raising hell everywhere he went. He was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed fixing and restoring vehicles. He was witty and resourceful, and he was always there to help out a friend.

His career was spent working with his family at their business Charleston Auto Parts. Ollie was a free spirit and always lived life on his own terms. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be truly missed.

Funeral Services

  • Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Hacienda LDS Ward Chapel, 2275 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • There will be a visitation Monday prior to services from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Chapel.
  • He will be laid to rest at Central Cemetery in Central, Utah, on Tuesday May 24, 2016, at 1 p.m. (Utah time).
