Amber Wilson Anderson, age 40, passed away at her home, surrounded by family, Saturday, May 7, 2016, after a 15-year battle with cancer. Amber was born May 21, 1975, in Richfield, Utah to Brent and Dianne Noall Wilson. She married Mitchel Scott Anderson on June 28, 1996, in the Manti Temple, Manti, Utah.
Amber grew up in Salina, Utah, graduating from Southern Utah University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She was employed at Pine View Middle School at the time of her death. Amber was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in multiple ward and stake callings.
Amber is survived by her husband, Mitchel Scott Anderson; sons, Trent Mitchel and Kyler Scott Anderson of St. George, Utah; her parents Brent and Dianne Wilson of Pahrump, Nevada; brothers, Jonathan (Jenny) Wilson of Montrose, Colorado, Benjamin Wilson of Salina, Utah; sisters, Emily (David) Winchell of St. George, Utah, Cariann (Albert) Lieske of Eagle Mountain, Utah; grandfather, Irvin Walter Noall of Pahrump, Nevada; and grandmother, Madge (Grant) Mogle of Salina, Utah.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Leslie Dean Wilson and grandmother, Jane Allen Noall.
Funeral Services
- Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Ward Chapel located at 807 W. Capilla Dr., Washington, Utah.
- There will be a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff, St. George, Utah and again on Saturday one hour prior to services at the Chapel.
- Interment will take place in the Washington City Cemetery.
The family members wish to thank all of the kind and generous people who have helped in any way at this difficult time. The Cancer Center, IHC-Hospice, Doctors, Nurses, neighbors, Ward members, friends and family for the compassionate service you have given these past two months.
