Gary Rollo

Gary Rollo Obit1936 — April 28, 2016

Gary Rollo, age 80, passed away on April 28, 2016, after facing numerous health challenges. He was born in Cedar City, Utah, and lived and worked in California for 42 years.

During his residence in California he earned two Bachelors of Science in mechanical and electrical engineering, and worked for Garrett Ai-Research building rapid transit trains, tanks, and military aircraft. He was very social and had many great friends in both his work and private life. He always helped those who needed it with a job, a loan, or just a compassionate ear for listening.

He loved deer hunting, vegetable gardening, and taking things apart and rebuilding them. He will be remembered for his loyalty and love of family, and snarky sense of humor. He was a true regular of the morning coffee tribe at the Main Street Grill, and the 2 o’clock chat session at the truck stop.

He is survived by his daughters Hollie (husband Dave) and Kellie (husband Steve), his three grandchildren Riley, Brianna, and Ian, and his brother Alex. He will be greatly missed by his family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
