Body of missing Utah man found at Lake Powell

LAKE POWELL — After a four-day search at Lake Powell, crews located the body of 25-year-old Tim Ritarita of Sevier County Sunday morning.

The man’s body was found in the Kane County, Utah, portion of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in about 143 feet of water.

Three public safety dive teams were dispatched to Lake Powell to help find a man who fell overboard a few days ago.

On Thursday at about 7 p.m., authorities received a report that the 25-year-old man fell overboard in an area outside of Wahweap Marina and didn’t resurface, according to a press release from the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
