Town & Country Bank named ‘Best of State’

ST. GEORGE — Locally based Town & Country Bank has won the 2016 “Best of State” award in the banking category.

The Best of State Awards recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah.  Judging criteria are based on exceptional achievement, innovation and contribution to a better quality of life in Utah.

The Best of State recognition for Town & Country is particularly noteworthy, as winners in the banking category in the past have typically alternated between the two largest banks in Utah: Zions Bank and Wells Fargo.

Town & Country Bank CEO Bruce Jensen said:

We hire talented team members who share our firm’s commitment for best practices.  Without these special individuals, we’d just be an ordinary financial institution.  Our people are what make us Best of State.

The 2016 Best of State recognition isn’t the only award the St. George-headquarted bank has received so far this year. Town & Country Bank has also won an international award from the Web Marketing Association for Best Online Newsletter, an Outstanding Community Partner Award from the Utah Nonprofits Association and a Five Star Rating from Bauer Financial Services.  The bank won several national and state awards during 2015 as well.
