ST. GEORGE — In the most recent version of “The Phone Book” sent out from Local 360 Media, the published number for the St. George Police Department has been listed wrong.
“We’re just trying to get the word out,” St. George Police Public Information Officer Lona Trombley said. “We did have a slightly larger volume of missed calls over the weekend than normal.”
The records department number was incorrectly published as the non-emergency phone number on page 169 of the new book. Trombley says the correct non-emergency number is 435-627-4300. The records department phone number is 435-627-4301.
As always, Trombley said, the emergency number will remain 911 for any emergency anywhere in the state.

Well…it’s just one of those throwaway ad devices that goes straight in the trash. One year, we got six “phone books”. Who looks numbers up in a phone book anyway?
