ST. GEORGE — Give the gift of health this holiday season to a loved one who is looking to learn more about how to improve their health. The LiVe Well Center at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George offers a full-body assessment that includes a functional fitness test, a body composition test in the Bod Pod, goal setting with a health coach and much more.
A physician’s referral is not necessary to obtain this comprehensive assessment and the LiVe Well Center staff will forward results to a primary care physician (with permission).
“This is information about your body that you can’t get anywhere else in one visit, which helps you and your doctor see an expanded picture of your health status,” LiVe Well Center Manager Trevor Smith said. “With your commitment and dedication, our credentialed team can help you get well, stay well and live well for the rest of your life.”
Not only does the LiVe Well Center inform clients about their body’s functional fitness, but clients also receive nutritional recommendations based on their personal goals.
“Right after the assessment, they told us they could tailor programs to fit us, giving each of us our own program,” client Larry Hingam said. “And it was affordable.”
The holiday price is $249.
Knowing more about how their bodies function through an evidence-based fitness program, Hingam has been able to cut his diabetes medication in half, and his wife, Candice Hingam, no longer worries about injuries when she plays with her grandchildren.
Clients who purchase the LiVe Well Center Assessment before Dec. 31 will also receive a follow-up Bod Pod test for free, a $45 value.
