Patricia Crandall

Crandall, Patricia ObitApril 1, 1931 – November 5, 2015

Patricia (Patt) Ann Crandall, age 84, passed away November 5, 2015, in St. George. She was born on April 1, 1931, to Otis J. and Dorothy B. Pusey in Salt Lake City.

She attended Whittier and Hawthorne Grade School. After graduating from South High School she married her football hero, Robert T. Price. They were later divorced. On February 9, 1978, she married Douglas H. Crandall in Salt Lake City.

Patt held many officer positions and committee chairmanships as a CWI Credit Professional career woman. She was an active member of career club since 1976 where members must work in the credit industry for 25 years. She earned the highest award in the field of credit by receiving a Certified Consumer Credit Executive designation in 1982.

Having worked in the credit field for 42 years she retired as a branch manager for Salt Lake City Credit Union. She gave many dedicated years to them and also Rails Ops Credit Union and Standard Oil Company. She retired and moved to St. George, UT in April 1992.

Patt was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas H. Crandall of St. George.

She is survived by her children, Scott Price of St. George; Shelli Scales of Oregon City, Oregon; and stepdaughter, Paige Crandall of Thornton, colorado; son-in-law, Vince Whitehead; her much loved grandchildren Duston and Breahna Schenk, Brooke Carnahan, all of Oregon and Trenton Scales of Washington, Utah; great-grandchildren Taylre Matos, Carter and Lillie Anderson, Cole and Clay Shenk; brothers, Paul B. (Noreen) Pusey of Meridian, Idaho; and Roger (Sondra) Pusey of West Valley City, Utah; along with many nieces and nephews who were dearly loved by their Aunt Patt.

Funeral Services

  • A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at Brookdale Southgate, 134 W. 2025 South Circle, St. George.

Arrangements have been made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, St. George, 435-673-2454.
