Norma Faye Dearing Kirk, age 89, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 2, 1926, in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of John William Dearing and Margaret Jettie Dearing Webb. She married Don Cobbley Kirk on December 2, 1949, in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2005.
Norma was reared and educated in Salt Lake City and spent some of her childhood in California. Norma supported her husband and children in all of their endeavors. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by her son, Brent D. Kirk of St. George; daughter, Sandra D. Kirk-Rodgers (husband, Dean C.) of Amherst, Virginia; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Stanley (Jolynn) Webb of Salt Lake City; and two sisters, Donna Callaway of Seattle, Washington and Patricia Bush of St. George. Norma was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Webb and a sister, LaVonne Williford.

- Graveside services will be held Monday, Oct. 26, at 3 p.m. at the St. George City Cemetery.
