ENOCH — Gateway Preparatory Academy is hosting its second Fall Carnival Friday, 5-7 p.m., complete with a chili cook-off, a silent auction and lots of games. Everyone is invited, and costumes are encouraged.

The chili cook-off starts at 6 p.m., and anyone interested in participating is asked to email [email protected].

Game tickets are 50 cents each. Dinner is $3 and comes with pizza or a hot dog and a drink. There are also two family passes. The $20 family pass comes with food for six and 14 game tickets. The $15 family pass comes with food for four and 10 game tickets.

There will be face painting for free, popcorn and cotton candy for sale, a dunk tank, a ring toss and other carnival-style games.

The silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m. Items up for bid include a massage, a glass rose from Gunjah, gift certificates and a Mary Kay basket valued at over $90.

All proceeds benefit the Gateway Preparatory Academy’s music department, so the community is encouraged to stop by, have some fun and support the school.
