Our beloved son, husband, brother, fun-loving uncle, and friend, Mitchell Tyler Jones, age 31, passed away, October 15, 2015, in St. George, in a vehicle accident. Mitch was born on March 15, 1984, in Ogden, to Barry and Linda Jones. He married Mayra Silva on January 3, 2012, in Parowan, Utah.

Mitch grew up in Taylor, where he loved to spend time with his family, exploring, hunting, fishing, playing the guitar, wake boarding, playing sports, and horse riding. He graduated from Fremont High School and later fulfilled an LDS mission to the Long Beach, California, Spanish speaking mission.

Upon returning from his mission, he played basketball at Western Wyoming College. He enjoyed his career and lifelong dream as a professional horse trainer. Mitch had an adventurous spirit, which often would take him, his wife, and family on many unexplored, thrilling rides on unmarked trails in the mountains.

Mitch had a tender and humble heart, and loved everyone for who they were.  He thoroughly enjoyed teasing his wife, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. He had a great love for his family and God. Mitch will be deeply missed. We love you Mitch, and you will always be in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife Mayra, his parents Barry and Linda, his brothers and sisters: Jason and Hayley Jones, Michael and Kim Casperson, Travis Jones, Phil and Kami Kiser, and Ryan Jones. Along with his nieces and nephews who adored him: Ryker, Summer, Capri, Jaden, Lexi, Kelsa, and Ammon. Also, his grandparents Keith and Theta Jones.
