Mesquite Police ask public’s aid in identifying armed robbery suspect

MESQUITE, Nev. – Mesquite Police officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at a casino in Mesquite, Nevada, Wednesday night and are asking the public’s helping in identifying the suspect.

The incident occurred at the Golden West Casino, located at 91 E. Mesquite Blvd,, on Wednesday just after 11 p.m. After the armed suspect left the scene, a cashier called 911 and officers quickly arrived and contained the area, according to a press release from the Police Department.

The Investigative Services Division responded and began a thorough investigation, and evidence was collected from the scene. Multiple leads are currently being investigated.

The suspect is described as:

  • A white male adult in his 20s
  • He has a medium build and is 5-foot 8-inches to 5-foot 10-inches tall
  • Wearing a black bandanna partially covering his face, along with a white or gray colored hooded sweatshirt and light blue jeans
  • He was armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun during the incident

    If I see anybody that looks like that from behind I will be sure and call the police
