3AA South Monday review: Check out the highlights and key players from Week 3

Yep, there were some tough games in Week 3 for the 3AA South teams, but not necessarily the ones we thought.

Dixie just lambasted Alta, a game everyone thought would be close. Manti gave Pine View a tough game, though the Panthers came away from the game with a 3-0 record. Snow Canyon was winning a blowout, for half a game. Then Juan Diego roared back and won it in overtime. Hurricane got a little revenge for last year’s loss to Moapa Valley. Desert Hills had a shot against 5A Roy, but untimely turnovers cost the Thunder. And Canyon View, which has struggled mightily over the past two decades in football, got a 42-41 win over rival Cedar.

We’ve got highlights, plus key players, plays and stats. It’s on the Stapley Parmacy 3AA Highlight Show with Andy Griffin. Plus, we also award the Indy RV player of the week award.

Where is Hurricane at on here? Hahahahahahahaha. You guys make it so clear that you don’t like Hurricane but I likes it. It has been like that for years. Keep it up. Hahahahahahaha. Go DH and go PV.

Thanks for the comment. We do like Hurricane as much as any other school and have reached out to their coaches for access to highlights, but as of now, we still do not have access.

AG their quick to make judgement on what they think. before finding out the whole story

If Hurricane didn’t submit anything, I completely understand. But AG’s kids go to PV. In regards to Hurricane, was there anything to show on here anyways? You beat Moapa Valley. I guess that means PV shouldn’t have been on here either for beating Manti.

If you are comparing school size then Moapa Valley, Pine View, Manti, and Hurricane are within 400 kids in enrollment from each other. I think Desert hill has around 600 more than Hurricane and 500 more than Pine View. I am a fan of Desert Hills but according to LTA reporting on the Desert Hills and Pine View game will be more ridiculous and wasteful. Having Desert Hills play Manti would then be like them playing football against my heard herd of sheep.

I’m saying that you shouldn’t get worked up for 1 because Hurricane didn’t submit any highlights, as well as they played a bad team. Same with PV. End of story.

If you could read LTA, I am fine with no Hurricane coverage…..not a fan.
