HURRICANE – The Hurricane City Police Department is asking for the public’s help Thursday in locating a missing 15-year-old boy.
Thomas M. Schwab, of Hurricane, made statements he was running away and indicated he may harm himself, the Police Department said in a press statement Thursday afternoon.
Schwab was last seen around 11 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 975 N. 100 West in Hurricane, wearing a black/gray shirt, tan pants and brown shoes.
“He has run away before and usually will return within a few hours,” the Police Department said. “We are very concerned about his well-being.”
Multiple Hurricane Police officers, along with the Washington County Search and Rescue are currently searching for Schwab.
“(The department) would ask the public that if they see him or know where he might be, to please contact the Hurricane City Police Department at 435-627-4999.”
