Sullivan, Betty O obit(July 5, 1934 – July 25, 2015)

Betty Blake Sullivan, 81, of St. George, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015.  She was born in St. George, on July 5, 1934. Betty attended school in St. George prior to her marriage to William Wesley Sullivan on February 24, 1954, in St. George, and then sealed in the St. George Temple. They were married for 60 years.

Betty enjoyed square dancing, cruising, trips in their motorhome and houseboat, all with her beloved “Wes.” She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed many church callings. Betty loved to entertain and decorate for the holidays. She was a great cook all while working daily in the family business.

Betty is survived by her four children, Kim Sullivan, Karla (Peter) Michelin, Kent (Sue Ellen) Sullivan and Kendall (Mitzi) Sullivan; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Lucas and Thelma Oswald; sisters-in-law, Darlene Blake, Diane Sullivan, Leila Sullivan; and brother-in-law, Carl Rodoni.

Funeral Services

  • Funeral services will be held Friday, July 31, 11 a.m. at the St. James Chapel, 1095 St. James Lane, St. George.
  • Visitations will be held Thursday, July 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff Street, St. George, and Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at St. James Chapel.
  • Interment will take place in the St. George City Cemetery.

The family of Betty Sullivan wishes to thank those special caregivers and friends that assisted in her time of need.
