ST. GEORGE — Having to deal with car repairs can quickly become a nuisance. At times, it is difficult to differentiate between what is needed for your car repair and what isn’t when dealing with repair shops.
The technicians at Pro Auto Care pride themselves in the honest way they do business.
Independently owned and operated by Evan Jenkins and Sonny Cheser, the auto shop is centered around giving customers a forthright and comfortable experience.
“We don’t have a biased one way or another whether you do the repair or not,” Jenkins said. “There’s no pressure, there’s no sales pitch.”
The two technicians offer over 50 years of combined experience. The two have worked for dealerships like Lexus, Toyota, Acura, Honda, Mazda, Dodge and Hyundai, among others, and had the opportunity to see firsthand how the customer should be treated and, by the same token, how they should not be treated.
Pro Auto Care offers a unique service, specializing in hybrid car repair and maintenance.
Jenkins and Cheser had tossed around the idea of opening up a shop for four years before it finally came to fruition on the first of January.
“To both of us, it’s more than just a job on it,” Jenkins said. “It’s not just some place we go to collect a paycheck. I mean, I do it because I really love it. I’m really passionate about what I do.”
Pro Auto Care strives to act as an intermediary of sorts between car and owner, diagnosing the problem and providing straightforward options for repair.
“Our ambition and our dream is to provide a safe environment for people to bring their car in and get repaired,” Jenkins said. “Any diagnostics we do are free.”
