Clair Steele Reese

Reese, Clair obit(July 8, 1937 – July 18, 2015)

Clair Steele Reese was born July 8, 1937 in Logan, Utah, to Charles Lionel Reese and Georgia Ruth Foster. He left this earth on eagle’s wings July 18, 2015. At one time, he felt like the Phoenix bird and would fly out of the ashes. But it was not to be.

He was taught well by his parents and siblings to live a life of honesty, integrity and morality. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Carol, served a companions on a church mission in the Addiction Recovery Program. They were currently serving together as temple ordinance workers in the St. George Temple.

He had many other callings in the church that he truly enjoyed, including being in the branch presidency, high priest group leader and teacher and many other callings to serve. He was a dedicated gospel doctrine teacher and home teacher. He dearly loved the gospel and read and studied it continually.

He was born and raised on a farm where he learned the value of hard work, persistence and love for those he worked for.

He started his own business CSR Investigations and worked with his partner, Dennis, for several years. His favorite activities other than golf were playing his trumpet and playing the piano in priesthood.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; son, Michael; daughters, Pati and Peggy; stepson, Phillip; and his precious grandchildren, Davin, Miguel, Naomi, Nicolas and Toni, whom he was recently able to visit and enjoy. He is also survived by his younger brother, Cleve.

We all love him so much and will miss him dearly.
