Where to see fireworks this Fourth of July in Southern Utah

SOUTHERN UTAH — It’s that time of the summer for Popsicles, hot dogs, parades and, of course, fireworks!

Firework restrictions for Southern Utah have been posted for anyone who wants to set off their own. For a bigger, grander display of American pride, we’ve compiled a comprehensive guide to fireworks and other patriotic events around Southern Utah.

July 3 | “George, Streetfest” Parade Preview

  • “George, Streetfest on Main” has announced its cooperation with St. George’s Fourth of July Celebration in hosting the Parade Float Preview from 6-10 p.m. | Event details

July 3 | Cedar City Patriotic Concert: Remembering our heritage, honoring all veterans | 7 p.m.

  • Put on by Cedar Area Interfaith Alliance, this free event starts at 7 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. There will be free ice cream in the pavilion. The public is invited to come to sing and cheer their favorite branch of service. All veterans are encouraged to wear their uniforms

July 3-5 | Brian Head Independence Day Celebration

  • This free event features a Fireman Pancake Breakfast, an arts fair, a zipline, live music and a fireworks display. See a full schedule here.

July 4 | St. George Fourth of July Celebration at Vernon Worthen Park | All-day

  • The event features a parade, talent show, family 5K run, games and entertainment throughout the day | Event details

July 4  | St. George Pickleball Scrambler

  • Breakfast, friends and pickleball all happening at the Little Valley Pickleball Courts on the Fourth of July | Event details

July 4 | St. George The DiFiore Center | 8:30 p.m.

  • Free refreshments and entertainment start at 8:30 p.m. The center boasts the “best view of fireworks in St. George.” | Event details
  • Location: 307 N. Main Street, St. George

July 4 | Cedar City Fireworks

  • Come watch fireworks at Lund Highway and 1600 North. Park along Lund Highway, Aviation Way or Airport Road. Fireworks start between 9:45 and 10 p.m.

July 4 | Springdale Fourth of July Celebration

  • With a pancake breakfast, a parade and good community fun, what better way to celebrate Independence Day? The Lion’s Club Breakfast starts at Springdale Elementary School from 7 to 9 a.m. The parade starts at 9:30 a.m.; it will run from Lion Boulevard to Canyon Spring Drive. | Event details

July 4 | Hurricane City’s Fourth of July Celebration

  • Head to the Hurricane Community Center for all-day activities. The Lions Club Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., followed by the “Stars and Stripes” parade, starting at Main Street and 300 South. The night will end with fireworks at 10 p.m.

July 4 | Enoch Fourth of July

  • The fun starts at 2 p.m. with activities in the park, including a car show, hobby booths, pinewood derby, a horseshoe tournament and races for all ages. There will be a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. and fireworks at Old Town Park at dusk.
  • Location: Old Enoch Park, 1702 E. 5250 North, Enoch

July 4 | Enoch Freedom Run

  • There will be a 5K and 10K run at 7 a.m., as well as a 5K family walk. Registration is $25, which includes t-shirt as supplies last. There is no fee for the family walk. Divisions and registration can be found here.

July 4 | Tuacahn Center for the Arts Fourth of July Celebration

  • Following a performance of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” the center will have an extended firework spectacular in honor of Independence Day. The celebration sets a musical presentation and special video to the fireworks.

July 4 | Kanab “Abra Kanabra … Kaboom!” | All-day

  • Celebrations begin with a Color Run/Walk at 7 a.m. Breakfast follows, along with a flag raising ceremony and a parade at 10 a.m. A fair will be held at Jacob Hamblin Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Live entertainment will be held at the park, and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. The night closes with a big screen movie in the park

July 4 | Parowan Fourth of July Celebration | All-day

  • This all-day event starts with a parade on Main Street at 10 a.m., with games throughout the day at the city park. The night will come to a close with fireworks at 9:30 at the fairgrounds | Event details

July 4 | Mesquite Eureka Casino Resort “Rockets over the Red Mesa” | 6 p.m.

  • This free event begins at 6 p.m. with a community vendor village and DJ. A live performance from the Nevada POPS Orchestra at 8 p.m. will be followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. The 32-piece orchestra will be accompanied by vocalist Bruce Ewing from Vegas shows such as “Phantom” and “Forever Plaid.” Guests are encouraged to bring chairs to the viewing area, behind the Eureka Casino Resort

July 4 | Cedar Mountain Duck Creek Village Independence Day Celebration | All-day

  • The day begins at 8 a.m. with a Cedar Mountain Fire Protection District pancake breakfast. Check back in around 6 p.m. for live music at Duck on Inn Saloon/Grigas Tacos | Event details
  • Location: 76 Movie Ranch Road, Duck Creek Village

July 23 | St. George Olympic Day at Town Square | 10 a.m.

  • A free mini-Olympic Day will be based on actual Olympic events but will be modified to meet the needs of the participants. New this year: Olympic-based games and crafts with a full bubble machine for even more fun. Local elite athlete Amber Green will be speaking to all the kids and inspiring them to be active, healthy and strive to be their best. The fun begins at 10 a.m.

July 24-25 | Cedar Mountain Duck Creek Days | All-day

  • The weekend will include arts and crafts, a chili cook-off and live music. Booths are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and dancing with Muddy Boot Band starts at 6 p.m. in the Big Tent both days. The cook-off starts Saturday morning and the winner will be announced around 2:30 p.m. | Registration for vendors and the cook-off and a full schedule of events can be found here
