CEDAR CITY – Two people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday at the intersection of 800 West and Industrial Road in Cedar City.
At around 11:30 a.m., one car failed to stop at a stop sign and hit another. Both ended up crashing into a construction barrier, Cedar City Police Sgt. J.R. Robinson said, which caused the airbags in both cars to deploy.
The vehicles involved were a Toyota Camry and a Honda Element.
Both occupants of the Camry were taken to Valley View Medical Center with injuries that did not appear life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Element reported no injuries and was driven home by a family member, Robinson said.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
No arrests were made, and no citations were issued.
This report is based on preliminary information provided by law enforcement or other emergency responders and may not contain the full scope of findings.
