Lorraine Bradshaw Campbell Davis, 94, passed away on May 2, 2015, in St. George, Utah, after a long and courageous life.  She was born on July 8, 1920, in Hurricane, Utah, to Delon and Annie Angell Bradshaw.

Lorraine spent very happy childhood years in Hurricane growing up with her siblings, Kent Bradshaw, Carmeneitta Bradshaw Cunningham, and Bonnie Bradshaw Sapp.  Lorraine treasured her pioneer heritage and enjoyed her association with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who shared these early years in Hurricane.

Lorraine married her childhood sweetheart, Orlin Campbell, on June 8, 1940.  They were blessed with four children:  Janice, Vicky, Kim, and Lonnie.  Orlin passed away in 1961, and Lorraine shouldered the responsibilities of a single parent.  She was a hard worker, but remained a fun and caring mother and friend.  She especially enjoyed dancing, needle work, and designing numerous floats for community parades.  Lorraine remained very patriotic, supporting Orlin as he served in WWII, and took great pride that her father had served in WWI.

Lorraine was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Lorraine and Orlin were sealed in the St. George temple. Following Orlin’s death, Lorraine married Marlo Davis of Cedar City on January 4, 1966, and the couple spent 29 years together before his death in 1995.  Lorraine was blessed to have four step-daughters from this marriage; Marie Tippets, Joan Rice, Jean Anderson and Betty Bell.  Marlo and Lorraine developed many friendships in the Cedar City area and loved to travel. In her later years, Lorraine was grateful to return to the Hurricane valley, where she lived with her daughter, Janice Isom.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Janice Campbell Isom (Garth) of Hurricane, Vicky Campbell Akers (Sterling) of Overton, NV, Kim Campbell (Sharla) of St. George, and Lonnie Campbell of Cedar City.  She also leaves a posterity of 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.  She will be remembered fondly by the family members that she has served.  The family would like to thank the Meadows Assisted Living Center and Intermountain Hospice for their patient care of Lorraine in her last months.
