LITTLEFIELD, Arizona – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Littlefield, Arizona, Wednesday. One of the vehicles, an SUV, rolled several times as a result of the collision.
At about 6:22 p.m., Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an accident at the intersection of Scenic Boulevard and Highway 91 in Littlefield. According to a press release from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, a red Toyota Celica failed to yield at a stop sign and struck an SUV. The impact of the collision caused the SUV to roll three times.
Medical personnel responded to the scene, and four people were ultimately transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite with minor injuries. Seat belts and airbags helped prevent serious injury, according to the press release.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Charges are pending in the case, according to the press release, and the accident remains under investigation.
