CEDAR CITY – The Travel Channel’s hit series “Hotel Impossible” has brought its brand of business rescue to Southern Utah, and show host Anthony Melchiorri will be in Cedar City through the end of the week filming an episode of the show and lending his makeover magic to the Stratford Court Hotel.
Southern Utahns with a hankering for TV fame have an opportunity to participate in the filming.
“Melchiorri is relentless when it comes to getting struggling hotels all over the world back on their feet and on the path to success,” a press release from the Travel Channel said. “His no-nonsense approach may put some owners off, but his advice can transform even the most down-and-out properties. Yet it’s ultimately up to the hotel owners to implement and maintain his changes.”
In any given episode of “Hotel Impossible,” Melchiorri visits struggling hotels selected to be on the show, gives hotel owners and staff some tough love and harsh reality checks, and then sets to work getting the hotels back in shape and on the path to profitability. This week, owners and staff at Cedar City’s Stratford Court Hotel get their chance to be in Melchiorri’s hot seat.
“In the hospitality business for more than twenty years, Melchiorri has an unmatched ability to identify problems and find smart solutions,” the press release said. “He provides the tools for a business to get back on the path to success and generate profits. In addition to being the host of ‘Hotel Impossible,’ Melchiorri runs his own company, Argeo Hospitality, consulting on hotel projects for private owners and investors.”

Based on what I read on tripadvisor.com, this will be a project worthy of the show’s time, but not an unusual one, if you are familiar with the show.
Now if we could get Gordon Ramsey to film a “Kitchen Nightmares” for our stupid weird crazy bull owner out in Hurricane!
A bull with 5 legs is crazy?
We need Chef Ramsey! I think we have another “Amy’s Bakery” on our hands.
