Young softballers light up the diamond at Canyons Complex

ST. GEORGE — Looking for a little warm weather and some quality softball, 18 teams from around Utah and southern Nevada converged on the Canyons Complex for some spirited competition.

The Desert Spring Championships, featuring ASA teams that are in the 12U category, took place Saturday. A fast-pitch competition, the field featured three teams from the St. George area.
