IRON COUNTY – Ryan Bundy, 42, son of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, was arrested in Cedar City Tuesday after Iron County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to serve him with an arrest warrant.
Bundy was at the Iron County Justice Court on a separate case when deputies approached him to serve the warrant, according to a press release from the Iron County Sheriff’s Office.
“When told about the warrant Mr. Bundy both verbally and physically resisted the deputies’ attempts to take him into custody,” the press release said. “Deputies were able to overcome his resistance and arrested Mr. Bundy.”
Bundy was booked into the Iron County Jail on the class B misdemeanor warrant as well as one class B misdemeanor charge for interfering with an officer and one class B misdemeanor charge for resisting arrest, according to current bookings information.
No additional information about the incident was available from the Iron County Sheriff’s Department at the time of this publication.

Hi there. The reporter who took this photo has a picture of Ammon from that same rally, and he’s wearing a different hat and shirt than the man in this photo. Our reporter said he is confident Ryan is the one pictured here.

If you took the effort to look into charges against Ryan Bundy, you would know that they have nothing to do with his stance against the “feds.” The Bundy family is just a bunch of scofflaws and dead beats. Not paying a legal fee mandated by a valid law most certainly does make you a dead beat. Cliven Bundy takes the federal handouts in the form of grazing privileges, but refuses to pay his fair share. He is a disgrace to ethical cattlemen everywhere.
Agreed. I am all for Civil Disobedience, if it’s for the right reasons, such as, shutting down the National Parks. This Bundy thing was/is all about a fire hydrant contest. Not worth it. There are many laws and organizations, I disagree with, but, this “fight” is not one of them.

Well SAGEMOON, if it is Bell’s Palsy, it’s likely temporary and he will soon revert to being a symmetric-faced idiot.
What they don’t report is that he was released today from jail after seeing the judge. No one appears to know why he was arrested and the judge said sorry and let him go. All of you who think this is funny just wait until your rights are violated someday in the near future when we no longer have any.

Wrong. He was charged with three class B misdemeanors ( failure to appear on a previous charge, resisting arrest and interfering with an officer of the law) and released on bail. No one, especially the judge, said “sorry.” The charges are still in effect, and he will have to appear at a future date to answer to them. He posted $1440 for bail. There is absolutely no indication that any rights were violated, except in your demented mind.
