Joyce V. Davis passed away on December 5, 2014, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born January 23, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Clarence Nuckols and Bessie Mayne Nuckols.

She was a lifelong resident of St. George, Utah. She enjoyed raising her four children amongst the beauty of the red rocks of Southern Utah. Joyce loved the outdoors and spent many days exploring Zion National Park. Cooking was her passion and she would often spend countless hours in the kitchen preparing delicious meals for her family. Joyce was especially known for her amazing salsa!

She worked for Stephen Wade Auto and retired in 2010. She made many lasting friendships during her 26 years of service.

Joyce’s greatest joy was her family and friends. She had an infectious laugh that people loved. She was mom to everyone. She touched the lives of so many people and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children: Tammy (Kim) Burrows, Debbie Green, Denise (Kent) Ahleen, and Donald Davis, all of St. George, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bessie Nuckols, and her beloved brother John Nuckols, who passed away just 3 short days before her. Thick as thieves until the end!
