Barbara Markus passed away October 5, 2014, in Hurricane, Utah. She was born June 16, 1936, in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She married Robert Markus in Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 14, 1953.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Markus; three children: Sharla, Kari and Steven; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. Milan Uremovich.

She loved to spend time with family and friends. She was actively involved with the Catholic Church, Red Hats and Senior Center.

• Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct, 11, at 10 a.m. at the Metcalf Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street, Hurricane, Utah.
