ENTERPRISE — Enterprise teenager Chandler Staheli, recently listed as a runaway juvenile, has been confirmed by his family to have been found.

Chandler Staheli was found Tuesday evening in the mountains south of Enterprise near Pinto, Derrik Staheli, Chandler’s older brother said. One of Chandler’s friends saw him while driving by and called the family, informing them of his location.

“We immediately went over there and got him,” Derrik Staheli said. “So the leads we thought we had out of Cedar City ended up being false. He’s healthy and safe now.”

Chandler Staheli was reported missing Sunday after he did not return home from his high school FFA club meeting, Chandler’s father Delbert Staheli, said.

His family is happy to have him back, Derrik Staheli said, and thanks all those who assisted them.

Yes, but why did he run away in the first place? What was his goal? Even more so, is someone looking into why, in case this is something that’s more serious than what it seems? A 15 year old doesn’t just run away without some justification, I feel like someone needs to look into this.

I am married to a redhead. They will steal your soul. The way you determine how many they have already taken you have to count their freckles. Most Utonians are afraid of 1%. Redheads, black people, etc. I would not be surprised if some hunter tried to shoot this boy being that he, like my wife is an Endangered Species. They shoot at everything else here…if I don’t recall. I love that my house hold consist of 2 1%ers and an endangered species. GO FALCONS!

I agree with you SAINTGEORGERES. Why did he run away? I hope someone takes this seriously, or maybe next time they wont be so lucky to find him alive. Kids at that age need someone to talk to to confide in, with out worry of parental anger, I hope someone reaches out to this young man. and gets to the bottom of the real problem. and to MY EVIL TWIN, Really but what can you expect from someone that signs on with that kind of user name. Gosh give the kid a break till you know the whole story.

SaintgeorgeResi and Linda: Try to relax. Since law enforcement was involved in the search for this boy, I’m sure the reason he ran away has been addressed. Just because it isn’t in the news, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. And 15 year olds run away with no justification all the time. Their reasons are huge, but only to themselves.

No, he really doesnt need his butt kicked, his neice died the week before, he needed some time to find himself, to find God and his own answers.

I feel like it’s easy to judge when you don’t know him or the family or the whole story. Kind words are more helpful than judging. We’re just glad Chandler is safe!
